At it again...all for you. |
The Most Brilliant Woman in the World
Facebook's founder, Mark Z., is at it again, as you can read in this article here.
Suffice it to say, Zuckerberg is finding himself between a rock and a hard place, between the Devil and the deep blue sea, between the stockholders and the analysts on the last earnings call.
Well, not so much the analysts because they were throwing around a bunch of me-too softball questions as they made nice with Mark Z. and his team. Oh, how the cult of personality blinds the eyes of the smart people.
Notice I did not say "blinds the eyes of the brilliant people" because brilliant people, such as myself who, as we all know, is The Most Brilliant Woman in the World, don't get intimidated by the cult of personality. Maybe because I'm a woman born and raised in the South I received an even larger inoculation against the cult of personality and so don't have a problem with that.
In any case, nobody on the earnings call had the guts to ask Mark Z. about that which is most important: How does it feel to fail at playing God?
Because fail he has done in playing God, not that failure has stopped him from sitting on that throne as this screenshot from the earnings call shows:
Compare this to the headline here and tell me what you see:
That's right! You see Mark "Me Wanna Be God" Z. talking out of both sides of his mouth because if denying the Holocaust isn't fake news, I don't know what is.
However, I don't care that people deny the Holocaust because that only helps me identify my enemies faster. What I do mind is Facebook's continued suppression of opinion, news, and discourse that is not Liberal, Socialist, or Communist.
I read the earning's call all the way through and, frankly, I don't believe Facebook is doing as good as they say they are. For a company that manipulates data and numbers, and suppresses free speech, I believe they are quite capable of suppressing data and manipulating analysts.
