Despite a grueling and often divisive Republican primary, Texas Senator Ted Cruz continues to doggedly work with the strongest of conservative principles on behalf of the American people. Expect him to enthusiastically work with President Trump to keep the promises both espoused on the campaign trail, one of the most important being securing our nation's borders.
This past week the Senator has been home to Texas and spent time in McAllen, TX, which is part of the Rio Grande Valley Sector. There he visited with community leaders and joined the border agents on patrol. Today at CPAC, he shared some good news from this visit that our media won't dare report to the American people. Since inauguration day, illegal border crossings have dropped by 50%. Although border patrol agents could not confirm exactly why illegal crossings have declined, their assumption, based on common sense, is that the word is out that our government led by President Trump will be enforcing the law.
