On Friday, October 7th the Trump tapes dropped and the timing (two days before the second presidential debate) appeared fishy:
Agreed. This tape, which has allegedly been conveniently sitting on the shelves at NBC collecting dust for 11 years, could have been released during the primary. The question we all need to be asking is why NBC waited until now to drop this bomb.Just amazing to me that @NBCNews won't comment today on why they could not manage to publish the tape even though they knew it was there.— Jay Rosen (@jayrosen_nyu) October 8, 2016
According to Stephen Miller of Heat Street,NBC had tape 11 yrs. Apprentice producer says they have more & worse. So why not release in 2015? In March? Why wait till October? #MSMBias https://t.co/WCEEHhZKd6— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) October 9, 2016
NBC’s behavior surrounding the tape is highly suspicious and raises several questions:
Is this a coordinated effort between the Clinton campaign and the MSM? Some think so especially after hearing Anderson Cooper's grilling of Trump over the tape, essentially getting Donald to claim he was guilty of participating in "locker room" talk and nothing else.
This exchange was scripted and, some believe, intentional as a set up for more damning revelations about Mr. Trump's lewd behavior towards women. It appears this tactic is working; since the debate, the stories are flooding the Internet:
October 10th - Law Newz: Turns Out Donald Trump Attacked Women Who Accused Him of Sexual Assault. This Year.Shall I go on . . . there are tons more. So what's the point? While it's hard to give Donald a complete pass on his pre and post presidential-run behavior, this smells of a coordinated attack which would be fine if Hillary and her many corrupt dealings were given the same attention by the liberal mainstream media.
