Evil has no conscience.

Last, but not least, Evil exists across all strata be it economic, class, nationality, color, religion (including atheism), politics, job description, education level, gender, and age. Evil will use everything available to fool victims in order to get away with their crime. Evil has no conscience.

Evil seeks its own interests; no other interest does it acknowledge as being relevant.

Evil will even accuse other Evils to divert attention away from themselves.

Alabama's Judge Roy Moore is being accused of fondling underage girls. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen. However, as if Politically Correct Democrat Liberal Socialist Fascist Commies can't and would never do anything like it, the story circulating on Facebook via comments goes along these lines:

"See, the AltRight judge is a hypocrite, and..." blah, blah, blah, more of the same types of comments that make the assumption that only conservatives of any stripe are hypocrites and do these bad things.

But how about all those pussy-hat wearing women who just love to defend rapist Bill Clinton while demonizing all of his female victims who spoke out against his evil?

See? Evil is everywhere.

Alabama's Judge Roy Moore.

After posting comments you see to your right, one young fellow I know in the real world asked the question, "When are we going to wake up?"

My answer to him was this:

To your question "when are we going to wake up?" I say some people are woke. That a person secretly abuses others is not an unknown. The entire history of mankind is full of such examples, some of whom are the biggest hypocrites ever — preaching from pulpits, ruling from benches, and using the force of law to control the private lives of others, as well as tormenting their spouses and children using threats of torture, punishment, and death if they speak up.

Once these things are discovered, laws exist to punish the abuser. Now, will anybody go on the record against the abuser himself (and in a lot of instances, herself)?

That is a complicated question with a complicated answer.

First, most people are truly good and simply cannot conceive of the concept of evil much less the reality of it. Therefore, even when they see it, will convince themselves it is they who are misinterpreting what they see because, gee, their good friend, person they voted for, teacher of their children, preacher of their sermons, etc., simply are such awesome people that they couldn't do it.

And besides, they say, evil stuff like that is only imagined in the minds of mentally ill people and it doesn't really happen. Which brings us to the next point: That mindset makes whistle blowers into the enemy and they are castigated by well-intentioned good people.

Third, Evil is happy that good people cannot conceive of evil and will constantly exploit their good natures and lack of understanding of the full scope of human conditions.

Lastly, evil exists across all strata be it economic, class, nationality, color, religion (including atheism), politics, job description, education level, gender, and age. Evil will use everything available to it to fool victims in order to get away with it. Evil has no conscience. Evil seeks its own interests; no other interest does it acknowledge as being relevant. Evil will even accuse other Evils to divert attention away from themselves.
