Are Chuck Schumer's Tears Real?

Sources say 5% chance the tears are real :-)

President Trump's First "You're Fired"

by Kim D.

Donald Trump became a celebrity partially by his forceful utterance of two simple words - "You're Fired." And last night he uttered these words as president while firing acting Attorney General Sally Yates, an Obama holdover until Jeff Sessions is confirmed to fill this important government role in defending. upholding, and enforcing American law.

As reported by Daily Caller,

It's pretty clear where the Trump administration stands on the issue - but the media has another take. Sally Yates in a hero for defying unjust law.
The message is clear to all the useful idiots ready to switch gears and add another bitch in which to protest. But is she really a hero? Or, in reality, is she merely a partisan, political operative? Her client is the American people - not President Trump. She agreed to fulfill a government role to execute law - not make law.
If Yates had an ethical problem in performing her job, she had one option which would be to make her concerns known and then resign. If she could not provide a legal reason why the law should not be enforced, relying on personal feelings or morals is not part of the job. Basically a lawyer cannot substitute his or her judgment for the client.

Hence - Sally Yates - you're fired. The new acting Attorney General is Dana J. Boente who will serve only until Senator Jeff Sessions is confirmed.

Google Needs You to Know about Fred Korematsu

by Kim D.

Quick. Go to Google and at the top of the page you will see a doodle depicting a guy wearing a medal and you'll scratch your head wondering, who the heck is that. Hover your mouse over the image and the name Fred Korematsu solves the mystery. Well, kind of.  Who the heck is (or was) Fred Korematsu?

Click on the picture and a Google search answers that question too with a flood of articles and blog posts telling you why should care about Fred Korematsu, along with ominous warnings about one of President Trump's first executive orders in regard to banning refugees from Muslim countries.

Korematsu was a Japanese American who was forced into an internment camp during World War II. After the Pearl Harbor attack, FDR (celebrated Democrat) signed Executive Order 9066 which branded people of Japanese descent to be a military threat and ordered that they be put in internment camps across the United States.

Fred Korematsu, 23 years old at the time, rebelled and refused to relocate to the camps. Instead he went into hiding until arrested for defying the government executive order. Korematsu fought his conviction - all the way to the Supreme Court - yet lost the case.  He was released after the war ended but his record was scarred by this conviction.

It wasn't until 1983 that the courts under Ronald Reagan (Republican - go figure) got involved to clear Korematsu's name and record, citing that the original conviction was racially motivated.  In 1998 Bill Clinton awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom and said
"In the long history of our country's constant search for justice, some names of ordinary citizens stand for millions of souls - Plessy, Brown, Parks - to that distinguished list, today we add the name of Fred Korematsu."
The warnings are clear - if America profiles its citizens, innocent people will be disenfranchised just like Japanese Americans were after the Pearl Harbor attack. Over the weekend, various news reports showed protests in major airports in reaction to the immigration ban from seven Muslim-majority countries.

The social justice warriors marching in pussy hats last weeks barely had time to catch their breaths before flocking to airports to screech about the inequality of an Muslim refugee ban. The news loves to show YUGE crowds when they support the cause, while most Americans working 9-5 then scrambling to make dinner and help with homework shake their heads, knowing that all the rhetoric and drama will not keep Americans safe.  Reducing the risk of allowing terrorists to come in to the country is more effective and why most went to the polls across Fly Over and pulled the lever for Donald Trump, the only candidate to identify this problem and vow to correct it if elected.

But back to Google's celebration of Fred Korematsu's legacy, is there more here that meets the eye? After all restricting immigration from countries infested with ISIS terrorists who have vowed to bring the fight to our shores is not the same as rounding up Americans of Muslim descent and putting them into internment camps. Could it be Google has a vested interest in ramping up the rhetoric in opposition to President Trump and his "Keep America Safe" agenda?

According to Tech Crunch, yes.
So the propaganda continues. Along with Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft, many companies that have a global footprint are balking at an executive order to ban Muslim immigrants. Expect more screeching about the horrors of profiling instead of the reality of an American policy to avoid the pain Europe has felt with its previous open-border policy in regard to refugees.

The Clinton Foundation Is Dead — But The Case Against Hillary Isn't

IBD

While everyone's been gearing up for President Trump's inauguration, the Clinton Foundation made a major announcement this week that went by with almost no notice: For all intents and purposes, it's closing its doors.

In a tax filing, the Clinton Global Initiative said it's firing 22 staffers and closing its offices, a result of the gusher of foreign money that kept the foundation afloat suddenly drying up after Hillary Clinton failed to win the presidency.

It proves what we've said all along: The Clinton Foundation was little more than an influence-peddling scheme to enrich the Clintons, and had little if anything to do with "charity," either overseas or in the U.S. That sound you heard starting in November was checkbooks being snapped shut in offices around the world by people who had hoped their donations would buy access to the next president of the United States.

And why not? There was a strong precedent for it in Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state. While serving as the nation's top diplomat, the Clinton Foundation took money from at least seven foreign governments — a clear breach of Clinton's pledge on taking office that there would be total separation between her duties and the foundation...  READ MORE

Fuck #MerylStreep

Her Golden Globe speech confirms that living in a world where 'pretend' reigns supreme is the milieu of little girls and mental patients.

By the way, Bandera (where this vid was filmed) is one town over from where I live. The Texas hill country rocks!

How to Stump a Liberal Journalist 101 #Truckgate

by Kim D.

There's a new course online - How to Stump a Liberal Journalist 101. And it's free!  All you have to do is join Twitter and follow John Eckdahl. To get the most out of the course, create a list and add John to your mobile notifications. Then all you have to do is sit back and watch the master at work and learn the subtle techniques to stump liberals in general to reveal their ingrained bigotry against anything non coastal and non elite.

We are in the midst of a culture war unlike anything we have ever seen and Eckdahl has a knack for making simple but poignant points which can make the unsuspecting and clueless lose their ever-loving minds. When the target is a liberal journalist, the result is priceless. For example, two days ago, John asked a simple question:
The responses were overwhelming and quite hilarious. For the most part, the journalists didn't understand the question and wrote it off as irritatingly stupid yet continued to debate it anyway. Why would it be important for reporters to know someone who owns a truck?
They don't have a clue which is why they still don't understand why in 15 days Donald Trump will become POTUS. This question is relevant and wasn't meant to mock anyone, although due to some interesting responses it inadvertently did - bonus. Eckdahl simply was making a point about the media and the bubble in which they live.
Really? This simple Rorschach test proves only one thing. If journalists don't know many people who own pickup trucks, they should if they want to understand the entire electorate and accurately report on the entire American experience. If this election can teach our media and political gatekeepers one thing, it should be that fly-over nation can no longer be ignored. When the focus is only on urban life and those who dwell there bully the rest of the nation with their identity politics, the pickup truck lovers can and will bite back.

Now that #Truckgate has been explored - on to the next question:

Freedom Isn't Free

We learned this version of the song performed by Up With People in music class when I was an elementary school student in Carol Stream, Illinois.

Back then it wasn't sung in the key of EBT.
